The fear of needles is always there in the mind of people. Acupuncture needles are very thin and while inserting most people feel an intense sensation, but they won’t experience much pain like inserting intramuscular injections. 

Acupuncture does not involve medications and it’s popularly known as drugless therapy. Even if a person is new to Acupuncture and he/she is under medications that would be also tapered down gradually over time. 

This depends on the condition being treated, but some conditions can be treated in one to four sessions. People with chronic conditions may require regular treatment. It is a good idea to get an estimate at the start of the treatment if possible.
